To ensure continued success, we have developed these policies to help direct you with affiliate etiquette that is in line with our marketing message. Please read through these policies carefully.
General Marketing Policy
This policy applies to the way Affiliates promote The Beauty Crop on their website.
Creative
Refrain from designing your own The Beauty Crop creative. Please use the creative provided in the affiliate creative library.
Refrain from editing The Beauty Crop affiliate creative.
All photography, creative and content on thebeautycrop.com is protected by copyright.
Domain Names
Your domain name cannot contain The Beauty Crop, beautycrop, thebeautycrop.com and all variations and misspellings of the The Beauty Crop brand name.
Refrain from using domain names that reflect negatively on The Beauty Crop.
Content
Your website cannot contain or link to a site that contains obscene or offensive material. No gambling, adult content, extreme religious or extreme political content.
You cannot claim to be a partner of The Beauty Crop. Do not use terms like "us," "we," or "our" when referring to The Beauty Crop. If a reference needs to be made, please refer to yourself as a The Beauty Crop Affiliate.
Refrain from using the term "cheap." Do not describe The Beauty Crop product and prices as "cheap." Instead, use terms like quality, affordable, inexpensive and economical.
Technology
You cannot frame thebeautycrop.com or mask the The Beauty Crop URL with your URL.
You cannot use pop-up or pop-under technology to promote The Beauty Crop.
This policy is subject to change and any edits or additions will be retroactively enforced. Violations of this policy will result in the reversal of transactions.
Search Marketing Policy
This policy applies to the way Affiliates promote The Beauty Crop through search marketing.
Direct Linking
Direct linking is not permitted. Search traffic must first be directed to a landing page where the user initiates a click to thebeautycrop.com through an authorized affiliate link.
Display URL
You cannot use
www.thebeautycrop.com or thebeautycrop.com and all variations and misspellings of the The Beauty Crop brand name or web address as your display URL.
Bidding
You cannot bid on The Beauty Crop trademarked terms and you cannot outrank The Beauty Crop on trademarked terms. Trademarked terms include The Beauty Crop, Beauty Crop, TheBeautyCrop, beauty crop makeup and all variations and misspellings of the The Beauty Crop brand name. This includes, but is not limited to, the advertising networks associated with Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other paid advertising systems.
You cannot bid on keywords that contain the following terms: coupon code(s), discount code(s), promo code(s), referral code(s).
Ad Copy
You cannot use language such as "Official Site," "Official Store" or symbols (® ™ ©) in ad copy.
You cannot use the term "cheap" in ad copy. Refrain from using terms that reflect negatively on The Beauty Crop.
You cannot use the terms coupon code(s), discount code(s), promo code(s) or referral code(s) in ad copy.
You cannot promote The Beauty Crop referral codes. The only offers authorized for affiliate distribution are manufacturer promotions made available in the affiliate creative library.
Please be specific when promoting special offers. Ad copy that claims "$50 Off at The Beauty Crop" and "Save 10% at The Beauty Crop" is not acceptable. If the offer is a $50 rebate on select products, your ad copy must clearly state "$50 Rebate on Select Products."
This policy is subject to change and any edits or additions will be retroactively enforced. The Beauty Crop operates a zero tolerance search marketing policy. Violations of this policy will result in reversal of transactions and removal from the program.
Social Media Policy
This policy applies to the way Affiliates promote The Beauty Crop through social media.
Facebook
Refrain from placing affiliate links on The Beauty Crop’s Facebook page (wall posts, comments, photo captions, etc.)
Twitter/Instagram
Direct linking via Twitter is not permitted. Twitter traffic must first be directed to a landing page where the user initiates a click to thebeautycrop.com through an authorized affiliate link.
Refrain from mentioning @thebeautycrop in your tweets or Instagram posts.
You can promote The Beauty Crop special offers via Twitter and/or Instagram but excessive abuse (SPAM) will not be tolerated.
YouTube
Refrain from placing affiliate links on The Beauty Crop’s YouTube channel page (comments, responses, video responses, etc.)
The Beauty Crop Blog
Refrain from placing affiliate links in the comments on The Beauty Crop’s blog.
This policy is subject to change and any edits or additions will be retroactively enforced. Violations of this policy will result in the reversal of transactions and/or being banned from the affiliate program.
